FUNimation Entertainment acquired rights of Bones’s Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood from Aniplex. Thursday; April 9 @ 10 am Fullmetal: Brotherhood to stream on FUNimation website. Dialogued in original Japanese accompanied in English subtitles. The episodes will also broadcast on other video-sharing partners with FUNimation. Based on Hiromu Arakawa manga and created by Japan Bone Studio. Followed up by the series, Fullmetal Alchemsist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa ended the series. Directed by Yasuhiro Irie (”Soul Eater”). Some of the original Japanese actors from the first FMA do not appear. Such as Roy Mustang now voiced by Shinichiro Miki (Descendants of Darkness”). Megumi Takamot (Mahou Sensei Negima!) to voice as Winrey Rockwell and Riza Hawkeye voiced by Fumiko Orikasa (Bleach).

Electronic Arts Dante’s Inferno and Media Starz Film Roman behind Dead Space: Downfall the animated film. Upcoming direct-to-DVD animated feature and game ship simultaneously in 2010. Upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood premiers on Animax (Astro Channel 715) April 11 @ 12:30 Saturday in English subtitles. Five years later after Japan’s series ended. Plot is under tight wraps as the next installment of Fullmetal Alchemist hits Animax (Astro Channel 715). Airing six days after Japan premier. Based from Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan in 2001. Filipino writer Carmelo Juinio sumitted his entry to the 6th Animax Award, ‘07. The first scriptwriting contest to be held outside of Japan. Gregorty Ho, vice president and general manager of Animax Asia said, “Carmelo’s story was so compelling that we could not bear to let it go to waste. Animax is very pleased to have turned his dream into reality with LaMB. And with it we are very proud to have made Animax’s first ever original animation production.”. Juinio did not won the grand prize, but his entry was a regional winner. That prize was offered to Takane’s Bike by Hayato Takamaga. Judges were so impressed it was dedcided as Animax’s first ever original animation production. Voice talents from boy band FA (JVKV), Vanness Wu (Disney/Pixar Cars), both English and Mandarin dubs. LaMB’s animation is a blend of Flash (2D) animation and 3D animation to create its unique visual style.
