59 Feet Tall Gundam Mobil Suit

30th-anniversary-of-the-gundam.jpg  In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Gundam franchise, the 59 feet tall Mobil Suit located at the Shiokaza Park in Daiba (Odaiba), Tokyo will stand tall for public viewing on July 11 to August 31, 2009. The Gundam happens to be near the Fuji TV headquarter. Thanks to the Green Tokyo Gundam Project build the replicate which has head movements bobbing up and down and side to side.
The Gundam many series was created by Sunrise studios which spawn, manga, novels, and video games. The Gundam series included several different time line, each with their own storylines all rooted behind giant robots called Mobil Suit Gundam.

Live-Action Movie Will Not Have Hollywood’s Remake

Akira, the live-action movie will not have Hollywood’s remake of the cult classic animated film. Which was suppose to be produce by Leonardo DiCaprio’s company, Appian Way and by Warner Bros. Pictures. A report confirmed by Bloody Disgusting’s two unknown separate sources along with Ruairi (pronounced RAW-REE) Robinson, which would happen to be his directorial debut, left the project. Appian Way and Warner Bros. planned for its live-action adaption from the manga graphic novel for two films.
Akira came to us in the 80’s. Production by several major entertainment companies for the animated movie. From director/co-writer Katsuhiro Otomo. Originally an 2,182 page manga. Trouble biker boy Tetsuo Shima find himself in the mist of military government experiments, freaky looking kids, and the secrets behind Akira past in future NeoTokyo in the year 2019.

The publisher aimed for $30 million and set for open, competitive bidding from qualified buyer for the highest price for the sell of the company.  4mm-games-logo.jpg New Independent Studio: 4mm Games formed by Gary Foreman; co-founder of Rockstar and Jamie King; joining is Paul Coyne. 4mm is an independent studio whose planning to bring title for the home console. Before bringing titles to the console, first 4mm Games will focus on digital titles for the iPhone and other markets online.  
Concern of the Swine flu from publishers and developers traveling to E3 is limiting staff and executives, Japan government advise all citizen to avoid traveling internationally. Koei Canada in regard to the situation is attending E3 to discuss new titles. “The 2009 E3 Expo is progressing as planned. Public health officials are taking all appropriate steps and we continue to follow their direction on all measures”.

Titan Maximum

 voltron-blue.jpg  Voltron new series to air on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim in September 2009, called Titan Maximum. From the creators of Robot Chicken; Tom Root is the co-head writer, producer and director. Matthew Senreich is the co-creator, writer, executive producer and director. Set 100 years in the future, Titan Maximum are spaceships that can combine to form a robot. Disbanded, the team is reassemble when rogue team member tries to conquer the solar system. Seth Green and Senreich are the executive producer for the Titan show. Using stop motion animation and Green will voice villians, along with voice talent Breckin Meyer, Rachael Leigh Cook, Eden Espinosa, and Dan Milano. In conjunction with ShadowMachine Film.
