Central Park Media Shut Down

Published by susanmoore under Bits & Snippets Edit This

Recently Central Park Media file for Chapter 7 (liquidation). CPM was most remember in the 1990s to bring out such of my favorites, the kick butt gal Project A-Ko and Dominion (Tank Police). These two was one of my first encounter head by strong female protagonist and antagonist mainly because Pops got me into anime before the 90 at a very young age at Germany. And he is a Dude that like Dude stuff. He would record VHS in the 80’s for us to watch back in the states. I can’t remember but one first fav. that I watch in the 80’s call Star Blazer. Star, Star, Blazerrrr!!! Of course the medical chick is my favorite. Then there was the princess, (I think) Aurora and a few guy with feline mech, similar to the ever popular Voltron and a Rose Lady on a planet. That was my favorite episode, but till this day and for the love of me can not remember the title. And another mech one and cowboy pilot. Real hazy but that was my earliest memories. Started out in German TV in English dub and populated in the 90’s where I hunt for anything on the TV. Early mornings, on the Sci-Fi Channel or then the Asian international channels in some cases didn’t even bother with subtitles, but hey it’s the action and the coolness about it all. Not coming from the riches of family, we were ‘fans on a budget’ and borrowers and recorders.
