Published by susanmoore at 12:00 pm under Bits & Snippets Edit This

Japans hope to help recover through comic books known as manga and animation to help pull the country out of recession. Prime Minister Taro Aso was promised a stimulus package of $US150 billion to boost Japans biggest cultural exports. At a conference he spoke at as he waved Asian magazine that featured Japanese pop stars. Cultural export such as magna, anime, music and live-action movie adaptions have been growing. Along with manga/anime, Hollywood’s live action movie  adaption from cult favorites, working with the original anime creators or associations, and western animation with Asian influences are on the way. For example “Avatar: The Last Airbender and the upcoming Wind & Fire by Silver*Studio. Who promised, Travis Ware, CEO; “Yes! The series will be “bloody” And it will a true detective story, which inclues, finding clues, suspects, and murder. The show will make the mature audience yell for next week’s show!” A western version of “Extreme” anime influence in all its violence and glory for the very mature audience.
